Bought gun issue

I bought a airsoft gun off a member on the site.the weapon arrived snapped in half minus the mags . Parcel force will only deal with person who posted it and they are not responding to private chat on here or by email.
parcel force say its insured but i cant get vendor to claim and pay me back.
what can i do?.

Paypal have opened a.case but its a long drawn out process

If theyre not responding to messages then open a paypal dispute. Should get there attention pretty quickly. How long has the seller been un responsive? I would give them a week from your first message then open a dispute with paypal. Take screen shots of your messages as well so you can submit them as evidence. Try not to use the word gun though. I tend to say manufacturer name and model parts. Neither pay pal or royal mail like the words gun, rifle, pistol, weapon etc.
