Re: ARU Police loadout
Seeing this thread makes me curious about the legal side of this (ironic.), from what I was aware it was illegal/dodgy ground to be imitating a police officer?
Not that I don't like the idea of your ARU loadouts, they all look fantastic!
Lady Astor (first woman MP in the House of Commons): "Mr Churchill, if you were my husband, I'd put poison in your tea."
Winston (getting unsteadily to his feet): "Madam, if I were your husband ... I'd drink it."

From the CPS guidelines (my emphasis on the relevant section):
Impersonating a Police Officer
Section 90 Police Act 1996 creates several offences relating to the impersonation of police officers or the possession of articles of police uniform, namely:
impersonating a police officer (including a special constable);
making a statement or doing any act calculated falsely to suggest membership of a police force;
wearing a police uniform calculated to deceive;
possessing an article of police uniform.
The circumstances of the case may disclose more than one of these offences. It will seldom be necessary to charge more than one offence. You should select the most appropriate.
You should consider the motive of the defendant. Where the impersonation involves a threat to the safety of any person, or to property, or is done with a view to financial gain, then a prosecution should follow.

Re: ARU Police loadout
Basically its legal to dress as a police officer unless you act/tell someone that you are a warranted officer.
Police chest/back patches could be dodgy as they are to identify that you belong to the police.

On a game site it is accepted, if it isn't on site it isn't, simple.

Re: ARU Police loadout
I had a few of our local firearms officers wandering round where I work on Sunday.
Hampshire police look to not be using Glocks as their sidearms. My best guess from a short glance at the grips was one of the SIG Pro lineup. although that was, as I said, a guess. Holsters looked like Safarilands.
Shoulder arms where G36C's with the cheek rest stock, Eotech holo sights, 3X magnifiers on the side swing mounting, and some kind of surefire or simmilar weapon light. Also saw a brief glimpse the H&K Baton round launcher.
And they had some kind of MOLLE vest. Cut looked similar to the regular stab vests, but with MOLLE loops rather than the usual pockets.
Not actually a builder
Not actually called Bob.
