Loose fire selector on WE G36
27 August, 2017, 14:56
The fire selector on my WE G36 is a bit loose/floppy, I've often found myself accidentally dropping into full auto from the recoil of a few shots in semi, which at best is annoying and at worst gets screams of "NO FULL AUTO!!!" by marshals. Ive had a look and cant quite figure out how to tighten it up, it also seems like the switch itself is very vague with its positioning, and theres a spot halfway between semi/auto that it sticks in sometimes where it'll either fire full auto, or act like a safety and not let you pull the trigger at all.
Suggestions? I dont really know much about the workings of GBBs, Im more used to AEG Gearboxes!

Re: Loose fire selector on WE G36
The WE G36 selector isn't the best, but if you remove the fire control grip and select fully auto you can access the grub screws holding the switches in place.
If you unscrew them to remove/reseat the switches, be careful not to lose the small metal ball bearings on both sides of the lower receiver.
