  • US Navy Seals Devgru AOR1 Loadout Help

    Hi there,

I'm trying to copy the look here: spartanat.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/dsc2024i.jpg
and the one on the right here: http://spartanat.com/wp-content/uplo...5/dsc2053a.jpg

if anyone could also tell me some more information about this loadout or is it just a custom one? I'm not trying to go for an authentic replication precisely, I'm just wanting something similar and am more concerned about the cool factor.

    What I've got so far:

    Headgear
    Mich 2002 Khaki
    Khaki/Black Shemagh
    Revision Sawfly Glasses
    Khaki Balaclava

Most of my head will pretty much look like this: http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/7...arzari0hp7.jpg (or atleast it's what I'm trying to mimick)

    Hands
    Mechanix M-Pact 2 Black

    Clothing
AOR1 type desert camo - need help finding decent retailer/brand of clothing (I think Z1 allows links to nonairsoft retailers).
    Possibly this VIPER UBACS: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIRSOFT-VI...item565558f452
    and these rip-off trousers: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIRSOFT-PA...item3cd1b127a8

OR I can get Allwin AOR1 Combat Set from china or somewhere for 110 shipped to UK. which would be best?

    Chest

Eagle Industries or WAS chest rig type in khaki/coyote brown

Do you think this will look good?

My budget for everything is around the £200 mark, I'm hoping to spend around 75 on some decent clothing and like 25 on the headgear (apart from the helmet, which I'll buy later) and 100 on the chest rig (don't mind 2nd hand). I'll be using a DMR, G&P SPR/A. I can push higher except It'll just take me a little longer to buy all of my gear.

Re: US Navy Seals Devgru AOR1 Loadout Help

    From another source

Uniform:Aor1/2, Multicam combat pants and shirt $120-$1,000 (Repros are available for a decent price. best quality repros are Toy Soldier, cheapest are Allwin) The acception to the AOR color rule would be Any of the Arcteryx LEAF colors or TAD stuff.

Plate Carrier:Aor1/2, Multicam, Mass Grey. you'll want the following styles: 6094, MMAP, CPC, JPC, DPC, PROTECH, FCPC, APC, etc. $150-$1,500(Flyye makes aor repro models, real deal stuff is made by LBT, Eagle Ind., Crye Precision, Ferro Concepts, Mayflower)

Helmet: Ops Core Ballistic style and Crye Precision Airframe style, MICH2001. $80-$1,000 (Repro's are available for around $100, But if you want real deal you'll pay easily $950) The most common Helmets in use right now are the OC Ballistics so thats your best bet.

Footwear: Almost anything made by ASOLO, SALAMON, MERRELL, LOWA and SCARPA. $100-$300 (Make sure its not ridiculously vibrant in color) Footwear is 95% personal preference for Operators. so you can see a wide variety of footwear in use, i think theres even a pic of a NSW guy wearing AOR and black all-stars. I wouldnt recommend those though as they wont be comfortable and they dont provide a lot of protection.

Eyewear: Oakleys, WileyX, ESS, Bolle, Kaenon, etc. $60-$300 (Again try to keep it subdued in color, nothing vibrant) This is also operator dependant so the sky is almost the limit.

Gloves: Mechanix, Oakley, WileyX, Fox racing, Under Armour, etc. $20-80 (You can take a whole lot of liberty with gloves, but no crazy colors.) Operator dependant so it varies.

    Weapons

DEVGRU Primary: HK416 (Most prominent system) MP7 (Second most prominent system) SCAR H (Seen every once and awhile) HK417 (Rumored)
NSW Primary: MK18 MOD1 (Most prominent system) SCAR H (also very prominent)

Secondary: Sig P226/9 (Most prominent) Glocks , HK45ct

Special weapons:If you want something more, you can look at getting a Blunderbuss (M79 single shot GL) or some other form of stand alone GL.

Blades/Axes:you have a lot of freedom here. Some of the stuff i've seen are Winkler, Surefire, CRKT, and the like. Go with what you like, but dont skimp out, a good blade is often not the cheapest option.(if you have any tomahawk/knife questions or just need any help regarding "which is better" kind of thing just PM Crye Cage)

What I would say (as I've done a DEVGRU Loadout) as cheap as it goes whilst attempting to keep accuracy:

              - Emerson Gen 2/3 UBACS and Trousers in AOR1
              - TMC 6094 in AOR1
              - HK 416 (G&G or VFC)
              - Boots (personal preference but they like Salomons I hear)
              - FMA Ops Core Ballistic helmet

But like said above, DEVGRU impressions aren't cheap. I have spent tons on my Zero Dark Thirty inspired DEVGRU Loadout:

Somewhere in the region of £450 currently (not taking the weapons into account which would boost it up to over £1000). So yeah, not cheap - and I've bought replica stuff!

That's funny because they are cheap. You just have to know some very popular chinese retailers and the Emerson shirt and pants, fast ops core helmet, and tmc 6094 and be found for around 200 GBP, of course boots are your own and anything in tan will work and weapons will obviously bump it up.

Agreed for all those basic items its 'cheap' but that would just be for those items. Plus to some, that might not be cheap

Mine factors in a lot of extra little details which soon bumped up the price (gun attachments, helmet accessories, patches etc).

If you could give names of your 'popular Chinese retailers', I'd like to check them out don't like the thought of being duped :P

                    Oh yeah,

I mean you're totally right but obviously gun attachs and etc, can be built up across a longer period of time, you need those items to create a nice first impression! :P

                    I'll PM you mate.

Agreed on both points but its the details that take it from a player who happens to be wearing aor1 to an impression/loadout.

Impression and loadout are 2 completly different things, a loadout is just a generic term for kit and you ware what the hell you want an impression on the other hand is an accurate interpratation of a particualr unit/soldier using specific gear in a specific time so dont call you "loadout" an impression until its accurate and you have proof that it is indeed by the book, people struggle to get to grips with this, and moan when they get picked up....
