Homemade silencer (need answers!)
3 May, 2016, 09:49
I have a very nice 9" rail with a smaller inside diameter than a typical silencer so I'm thinking of doing a build!
I was mostly thinking of starting with a small PVC pipe, then filling it with some material ( was thinking expanding foam) then drilling through and then somehow capping off each end.
My real question is though, is there such thing as a CCW but? Won't I need one to be able to screw it onto my gun? Where the heck can I find one?
Please post on how you advise to go about this below!

Or mount/attach to the rail if it's slipping inside the ID of the rail.

Also plug the tube with a rod. Fill with your foam and pull out, foam is not easily drilled. And there's a fair selection of different diameter ALU tubing on eBay.

If I were to want to do this, I'd use a 1" CCW barrel extension as the threaded part and just attach the 'silencer' to it somehow.
DIY stuff like this is often not very durable though, I'd end up breaking it in minutes.

Crap! I forgot I had one of them! I'll be attaching it onto it somehow
