TM P226 gas problem (video included)
5 September, 2016, 18:48
Hi all,
My P226 has just developed a problem. To me it looks like it vents too much gas on a cycle (see video) thus not being able to empty a full mag of BB`s then it just vents the entire mag of gas.

are there any cracks in the loading nozzle, happens sometimes on greengas.
Also had a similar issue with mine when running on zeroone pro gas, sorted itself using WE nuprol or the camo green gas can.

No cracks that I can see. I use Abbey vertex gas. I'll give another brand a go and see how I get on.

Have you taken it apart and given it a good clean and regrease? What are you using as lubricant inside the blowback unit?

Sorry I couldn't tell exactly what was going on in the video.
The first part is you dry firing, then you refill a cold mag with BBs and fire.
Looks like trying to shoot a mag full of air and vapor.

Is the rocket valve intact?
And is it doing it on more than one mag to rule out magazine issues?

That is dry as a bone, silicone OIL is not a good lubricant, get some grease in there. Abbey LT2 is good for this. All the worn metal areas need a thin coating of it.
