Did Ares ever release any of the SL8/9 variants shown on their site?

Ares has a ton of airsoft versions of the SL8 & 9 on their homepage, but to my knowledge the only one that's ever been on sale is the SR-002 model

whilst it's the SR-001SX model that catches my eye (I know JG already does a version of it).

Not asking for any links to airsoft stores but did they ever sell these?

They did when it was STAR before the renaming. Had their SL9 about 8- 9 years ago. Got it off here oddly enough.

Just wasn't a popular gun thats all.
