Why so many GHKs FS!?

Random observation but why are there sooo many GHK GBBRs for sale, i thought they were pretty epic bits of kit!?

Have the owners got bored of Gas, or are they buying MWSs? Or is there some new daddy RIF im missing out on!?

Probably a lot of uncertainty over the new laws coming in so a lot of people are probably trying to cut their (potential) losses and sell now. At least they will get something back. Problem is though that if that is the case, not many people will be buying so the prices will drop.

Thats a fair strong reaction to something thats not concrete!
Would be rather annoying if it came to be tho as factory GBBRs have really started to perform well over the last year.

I also have noticed a few more than usual for sale, if I bought a GHK G5 cheaply, i would be very tempted to get the Samoon conversion kit for it. There are only a couple of videos I've found, this is one of them . Personally I like it !

That has got a seriously short front end, not far off a P90, that would make an epic CQB gun in that format.

I love the G5 platform.

That Bullpup kit looks amazing - I am tempted to keep my 3rd G5 and do the conversion on it.

I've taken advantage of this and got a gorgeous one coming my way! Real steel bolt and a ton of other upgrades, I guess people are getting scared of the upcoming law changes but it doesn't seem like much will change really and the GHK G5 falls within the law even at max output as far as I'm aware.
I'll post an update on Thursday after I skirmish it one Wednesday night and let you know if £230 is a worthwhile investment

Looking at the 'Gbbr/Smg' section I reckon it's all in meltdown, not just GHK stuff. No bargains to be had for me unfortunately, as I'm over 45 and waiting on the 'old skool' still... Thompson, Mp40, Sterling et Al...

You are right there is general influx of gas guns up for sale, nice buy Gems, I recently got a nice MP7 package that I'm looking forward to as likewise even on the powerful gas its still 1J :D
Admittedly I don't think it was for sale due to the law changes primarily.

It is funny how stuff goes in waves, ASG Scorpion and Krytacs seem to be on trend for the Gucci airsofters which means tons of TM EBB's up FS, which I didn't think you would see given their high regard.

MP7s are great GBB, generally don't require the same amount of care as others do.
I've popped the GHK G5 up for sale again, as much fun as I had with it id rather something else, if I haf the cash to buy a second rifle I'd definitely keep it.

It just didn't feel substantial enough to be my primary gun.
If I had an AEG that was more or a rifle instead of a GBBR SMG I wouldn't sell but because i play twice a week, once indoors and once outdoors having it as my primary just didn't feel right for outdoors so I'm trying to sell it on and get a different primary
