That looks like it could of even been found in a old building or bunker around stalingrad . I had chance of buying one a while ago and didnt , regretted it ever since , not that i would us it very often , but its just the first real assault rifle and they look mint with some wear .

Re: Weathered Or Worn Look Guns
Jay, gotta say, that MP44 really makes me want to purchase one. Its absolutely beautiful. I usually dont look at them twice as I find them quite ugly, but have looked at it about 3 times now and keep coming back!
B.E.N....gotta say yours is my second favourite after Jays. Really looks like its been out in the field. I dont generally like Masadas as all the ones I have seen look too clean to look realistic if you understand me. I just dont see it being used out on the field. That on the other hand makes me think otherwise.

I'm surprised you haven't put your M4 Custom in here, I love the light weathering down the rails on it.

i shotblasted all the paint off, then a couple of coats of birchwood casey super blue ( the more coats the darker it goes). after that attack it with scotchbrite/wire wool in all the right places.
some pics of my svd with some slight weathering. the wood was very orange so rubbed it down a bit with scotchbrite, put a few dents and scrapes on it. give it a thin coat of black shoe polish working it into the dents, then went over it again lightly with with scotchbrite. looks a bit better now.

Very nice MP40. Hoping my Kar98k will look as nice (if I ever get around to making the damn thing...).
