Nice load out gents .
Little tip guy at the front get some trousers twists
. And find an old car inner tube and cut a strip across then stretch it around the helmet . Go see a scrap dealer for this . Even better speak to someone in the ta if they can get you an old land rover inner tube that's what i used on my mk6 I would even go so far to say a bmx inner tube would do the job. Get a 20x195
Id say the opposite. No one wears twisties in the field, everyone I know wears their trousers loose. Twisties ride up your legs and are only good for the parade ground wallahs.
The only time most people use the inbuilt ties are in the jungle to stop all the creaches going up your legs!

Re: Contemporary British Loadout
we dont use black tape, its NBC boot cut the top to the right width then stretch over helmet, failing that green tape but your kit is looking good mate. i wont to remind people that there is no set way to how we wear/place kit on our person its mostely down to things like, SOP (stand operating procedures),what works for the bloke thats going to be using it, if its comftable.

Here's a pic of me taken at a recent game, decided not to use the MTP trousers. Also trimmed down the Osprey a bit as it was waaay too loose.

Depends, most guys are using ACOG. Spectre is used by 4 RIFLES and other units soon. 5 RIFLES have got alot of SUSATs out there on H15.
