It's best to use Green Gas if you want a good spread of BB's, but you can use R134 but it's not so powerfull especially during the colder game days.

They are not very good on soft or uneven surfaces , well the ones i have seen were not very impressive .

I've had really hit and miss results with mine,

I've had two of them, the first was blatantly faulty (And was replaced) at one point it took literally 3 hours to go off...

The replacement however seemed to work quite well. I've only had one successful deployment in the field though. Everyother time it's taken between 8-20 seconds to go off, giving whoever it's been lobbed at enough time to get the hell out of dodge.

The DD kit is great fun, not as oud as I expected it to be but it is loud enough in close quarters!

nice review thanks for posting it. i was thinking of getting one of these myself, but it sounds a wee bit more fiddly than my zox--and that works first time everytime! how long does it take to reload the bb?

Ziphead, I'd heartily recommend steering clear of them. My previous post was a little more positive about the tornado, but after many failed deployments, and lots of problems with my tornado I wouldn't wish one on anyone! Get yourself a BFG instead! miles more reliable and easier to maintain!

i'd say go for the impact version, got myself one the other day and its bloody brilliant!! no timing issues for obvious reasons and hasnt failed me at all so far...! first deployment got a double kill on two regulars at the mall :D the distraction kit is great!

I got a used one a while ago, great stuff. Works as described with a good spread. Seem to be a few out there with minor issues but the one I have is spot on, with good timing.
Not tried the DD side yet but certainly will do, cheap enough so whats not to like?
