Re: So about these WE pistols...

I've been using a WE Glock 17 for around 6 months now, I've used it in the cold, wet and even snow, its been dropped in the dirt, stood on and abused. I'm an old school TM fanboy, but this damn glock out performs every pistol I've owned. Nothing has broken, nothing has failed, I have a spare nozzle if it breaks but I can't see any wear on the one it came with. As for DOA failures, buy from a retailer that actually tests before they ship them out. The truth is, WE make some real shit pistols, but they make a few great ones too.

        Here's a big thing.
WE guns are designed in a hot country to run green gas & CO2.
Running it on Ultra will not give you full performance in Taiwan let alone the UK in May.

You wouldn't buy a G&P 370fps AEG & run it on a 7.4v low mah battery & then comment on it's poor trigger response.
This thread kinda proves nothing more than buy old/buy twice & use the correct gas in your gun.
        I sound like a dick but 1+1=2.
Just an opinion (with a pure fact mixed in).

Re: So about these WE pistols...

When I did some IPSC qualification sometime back, we ran 22A gas and 134A gas in 2 year old rental WE Hi-Capa 5.1s, granted we were in Singapore with an avg temperature of about 28 degrees when outside and 18 degrees in an air-conditioned room. I was surprised that they even ran! My point is that WE can run really low powered or weaker gasses in warmer temps, so shouldn't a mid powered gas work in a colder climate?

If a WE Hi-Capa 5.1 can work in an air-conditioned room running on 22A (Which I'm guessing is HFC 22 gas) or 134A gas, I don't see why Abbey Predator won't work in UK Summer. Winter may be questionable, but I'd have switched to Green by then.

It will, but the performance will never be optimal.

I have to admit, even in muggy 19 degree temperatures (which IMO should at least be adequate for a GBB to perform) my 228 struggled.

                Your kidding?

In these temps mine wants to rip itself out of my hand. (almost)
It's genuinely scary given their rep with slide quality.
