  • Review Request- Marushin Walther PPK/S

Has anyone had any dramas with one of these in the field? Planning to get one as a last ditch shit-towards-the-fan sidearm.
    Cheers!

I'm sure someone can chip in with more info but I like mine. I've had trouble with mags leaking (They were old) but you can get new ones for like £15. Not had any trouble shooting it either really.

The best part is it's super comfy and looks awesome!

They are not skirmish worthy! But they do look good!
I have 2 with full metal kits on them!

I've seen yours George it's what made me want one in the first place! I'd just like it as a last ditch sidearm really, intend to carry it in an inside the waistband holster. I've heard their range and accuracy is pretty limited at around 30m. Can you confirm this? 30m isn't bad for a backup sidearm really is it?

          The range is indeed limited.
          30-40m.
But I wouldn't rely on that gun to be honest.

I like the PPK alot .. I wish it was better.
There are no spare/replacement parts for it... Just keep that in mind.

Out of this and the WE M84 cheetah, what would you recommend?

I've had one for around six months. One of the mags leaked from the start and still doesn't work even after sending it back to be fixed. The remaining mag and the gun itself are excellent. The hop-unit is fixed but I can probably get around 20m out of it on a good day. It's also a very comfy pistol to use and I would recommend it for anyone who was looking for a compact backup (or in my case panic!) weapon.
