  • USKF loadout early 2000's

Hello everyone, I am currently looking into doing a early 2000's UKSF loadout. From what I have seen (mainly the SBS hiking kit's from Naka Valley), this is the kit list I plan on using:

    Head
    - Pakol
    - Beard (of course )

    Torso
    - DPM smock
    - SFU OD shirt
    - Artkis DPM chest rig

    Legs
    - either OD, UCP, DCU or trousers
    - Gaiters

    Weapons
    JG G3 with a TA01 NSN ACOG
or L119 16 inch (based off a WE M4 CQBR GBBR)
    or a AI L118a1 AAC
(the G3 is my first choice but depends on if it is "kosher")
    with a P226

This is my first jump into impressions so if there is anything wrong please correct me.
    Many thanks

Would need to see pictures of your G3 to tell you if it was kosher or not.

The pics from the SBS in torra bora have them all in civis with L119s. I also assume you mean the L115 not the 118 as that's a field gun.

With UKSF loadouts your best bet is to replicate a photo else it can very easily end up looking like just an airsoft loadout

There is a book from Osprey called Special Forces in Afghanistan it covers UKSF in the 2001 period onwards and has details on what was warn and what weapons were carried.

Im going to be trying out a new loadout tomorrow UKSF in afghan mid 2000s

          Kit is as follows.

          M4
Old school DPM para smock pre CS95
          DDPM Trousers
          Plain OD green chest right
Jungle boots or might go for brown walking boots.

Ive chucked it all on and it looks quite decent although the chest rig needs a bit more wear and tear to look like the other stuff im rocking.

All chest rigs remind me of classic UKSF from early 2000s
