  • PDI chamber in a VSR - Adjusting hop up

    Hi guys,
Im new here but am pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to "dial" my sons VSR in.
he has bought it off a mate who bought it off a lad.....you know the story!
it has a PDI hop up unit in with the two adjustment screws underneath.
can someone please explain how this works and the best way to get it running nice.
ive searched literally the whole internet for 3 days and cant find a thing!
as you may gather.....I'm no gunsmith so anything you could help with would be amazing! you tube videos would earn most positive vibes!
    cheers in adavance

Hopefully seeing a picture will help you get your head around its workings (used to have one and it was good but a mare the first time I used it)

    - To increase the hop you slacken the grub screws

    - To decrease the hope you tighten them

I found it easiest to tighten them till they had just stopped (not overly tight but puts them both to the same setting) then backed them out 1 full turn each. Fire a few shots and decide if hop needs to go up or down.

Adjust by full or half turns. Also keeping a note as you do it helps
