Seen floating around through social media and saw these.

Personally, more excited for the KSG, might have to make it my first shotgun.

I've already told my mrs I may not be wearing a suit to our wedding in exchange for a KSG. Or shoes for the WE M712

Re: TM KSG and M40A5
I was so looking forward to the M40A5. Until a certain place posted a video about it, why the hell are TM copying stuff off ares -.-
Ares style feed tube after the mag, the system that never worked reliably for Ares, not a hell of a lot that can be done to it to make it better, and I highly doubt even TM can make that work flawlessly.

I saw the same video and if I was even considering an M40 before I'm certainly not now. What an odd system, talk about Marui trying to reinvent the wheel.

One of the worst ancient Egyptian curses you can bestow is to compare an Airsoft company to Ares.

Re: TM KSG and M40A5
The price on the M40a5 really winds me up.
The gun is 34 800 in JPN. which is $300 , or £244. and they are trying to charge £390-450 currently. Now I don't know if that's because its a very new gun and that's the " get it early " price.
If so I may seriously consider giving it a miss as that price is ridiculous imho
Hopefully it'll drop !

If you were to import yourself you'd be looking at just a tad under £400, the companies do have to make a profit after all!

Exactly, it's not at all helped that GBP sucks against JPY vs 12 months ago.

Re: TM KSG and M40A5
Not sure where you guys have been looking but the figures I have seen indicate it would be a lot cheaper than that all in to get it imported to my door. Averaging importing fees/postage at £60 that is

Re: TM KSG and M40A5
take value of item and add shipping (probably around £60)
take that total and add duty
take that total and add VAT based on total amount
add shipper handling fee
you are usually looking at similar price to UK within £20 either way
Just checked , current price from Japan in GBP is £275.92 (based on the yen price you quoted)
so with shipping approx £325
add import tax and vat is approximately £418.81
add shipper handling fee of at least £14.95 and you get a total of
£433.76 so more expensive than Uk prices i've seen

Re: TM KSG and M40A5
Yep, unless you get lucky, and don't get charged import duty/VAT (unlikely on a large parcel) then if you make a saving, it's probably going to be minimal, considering the exchange rate being what it is
