Returning after a 10 year break.
11 July, 2016, 13:42
Hi all,
Used to play pre-UKARA but had to stop as I could no longer get to many sites as a lot of my team back then buggered off to either Uni or just moved (still bitter).
Recently back into the sport, mostly as it's tremendously good exercise and helping me lose some weight! Bought myself a G&G M14 SOCOM which is doing pretty well as an anti-sniper rifle and a gas powered M870 for the up close and personal! Even dragged my partner and some RL friends into it and have a team once more.
I used to be on UKAF and ASCUK back in the day as 'DM' (not dangermouse, that was another guy) and did a few articles for Safezone Magazine (covered War and Peace one year IIRC).
Good to meet you all

Welcome back, good to see someone returning, fed up seeing "quitting airsoft" sales threads.
Where you based/play ?.

I'm based in Romford in Essex, currently playing at a local woodland sight in Billericay but also tried the Sand Pit (which was ace) and looking at venturing further out!

I know Romford , played hockey for the Raiders many years ago.
From where you are Urban Assault isn't too far, def worth trying.

Sharks fan here! This year's been very exciting to say the least, I reckon we'll crack the cup next year!
I'll give it a look over, thanks for the tip!

Welcome back.
Pre UKARA, try the days when you bought your TM springer rifle/pistol as an airfix kit and assembled it your self.

Lol, my first airsoft gun (25ish years ago ?) ran on AA's & a pump up bottle that clipped on my belt.
Now we've got hpa, feels like its gone full circle.
