  • HELP: Sniper Camo Sticky after effects

I have wrapped my sons L96 sniper in camo tape, the sticky type, bought from my local airsoft shop. It now looks very good, however, it is a little bit sticky where the glue has come through the tape.

Does anybody know how to get rid of this ?
I though about using talc powder, but that might whiten it a bit ?

    Any advice please?

    Thanks.

No, I am not taking the tape off the gun. I have just camo taped the gun and when you grip the rifle it feels a little sticky on the tape, so I was wanting to know how to stop this?

Sorry, my bad, just get some dust/ dirt and rub it in/ along. Its what i used when I was in. It also takes the sheen of the tape.

Are there any other ways to reduce the sticky feel on the gun now?
