We mp7 parts compatability? And advice!
15 September, 2016, 00:58
Heya guys! Just picked up a WE SMG8 mp7ish thing, and I bloody love it!
Just wondering what parts are compatable?
The npas is the same as the tm open bolt one I believe, so do these share more parts? Ie mags ect?
Also, what would any owners recommend I do to the gun? I mean, it's the cheapest of the scale, and all guns have flaws. I've used the gun tonight and it was just fantastic to shoot. Very accurate and just perfect for cqb...... But it is brand new out of the box.
What flaws do they have? What can I remedy?
I'm going to be keeping this, so I want to throw some money at it

Does it have trademarks?
If not get the hk3 body, stronger.
Idk about the npas but low flow disks are better
Not much needs done to the gun really

No trades, but I like the body that's on it. If it ever needs replacing I'll replace it
Low flow disks? Ie, low flow mag valves?

That's the one. How would I address the rubber buffer issue?

There is no NPAS in a TM MP7. I'd be willing to place money on absolutely 0 compatibility between the WE and TM

Most take some soft rubber and glue it to the bolt.

Would the fg disk work?

No idea, as I don't have the WE model.
All I know is that there is no NPAS system in a TM, so fitting one wouldn't work

The tm and the we use the same npas is what I meant. The ra tech one fits both guns

Re: We mp7 parts compatability? And advice!
Defo put something on the rear metal piece (on the inside) to absorbe some of the impact from the bolt hitting it or soon the rear plastic near the securing pins will crack and the pot metal rear housing fall apart. Happened to me on 2 smg8 and 1 new wave small rice mp7. Some people chop a bit of an AEG M100 spring say about a inch and fit it over the recoil rod that's already there. This helps cushion the recoil and stop the rear of the gun failing as I just described above.

Fitted a piece of Sorbo pad to the rear of the bolt, I'll look at getting a bit of spring in there today!
