Gen4 is a marketing term, it's the same technology as gen3.

The goggles that were stolen by the guy roundel was talking about were from 815NAS and were the frankly fucking awful Fenn goggles that still get issued to RN Aircrew when they go to sea.

                  Correct. Completely substandard kit.

Fair, you'd have trouble stealing our DNVG, the squippers are pretty rigid with them!

Your not wrong there bud. We had a set go missing at the end of a night wave. Turned the place upside down looking for them. Last jockey using them forgot to hand them and inadvertently left them in his man bag.

Nah engineers have never been any bother to me. Usually a good surce of buscuits for doing gash sewing jobs :-)

                            Any more progress on this?
"This is my rifle, it's just a toy one, there are many like it, they're toy ones too, without it, i'm £250 better off, without me, it gathers dust in the corner, we're just big boys playing soldiers, lets try and remember that" play fair have fun.

                              No, still awaiting sentencing.

Re: UCAP airsoft owner admits to stealing MOD equipment

His sentencing got mysteriously delayed, and then last week a bunch of high end gear traders got knocks on the door and all their stock seized to be checked against MOD records.

Looks like he sang his head off hoping they'd find something juicy and lessen his punishment.
