VSR Edgi Sears - Problem.
29 November, 2016, 13:16
Hi There!
Im not really new to airsoft but have never encountered this problem before.
I have a JG bar10 / VSR which has had Edgi sears, piston , spring guide / stopper and spring installed.
The trigger shell is a TM one.
When cocking the rifle the pull is smooth, up until you reach 90% of the way back, where the sears take a great deal of effort to lock back .
Once you have locked the sear in place you can push the cylinder forward smoothly until it has fully cycled.
Next, you pull the trigger.. and nothing happens . The trigger does pull and is free to move as it should , however the sears do not seem to release the piston.
- Has anyone had this issue with a VSR, and how was it resolved ?
It seems to me as if there is too much friction between the trigger parts to allow release. To temporarily solve the problem I have placed an O ring around the Guide stopper - which seems to allow the bolt to be cycled and shot successfully 70% - 80% of the time .
Any help would be grand!
Thank you
