    Default What CQB gun?

Hi all, on the hunt for a new CQB gun (don't want a massive one), any suggestions what to get? Price wise im thinking about 200 - 300 (for the gun), it don't matter if I have to buy the battery/charger separate, I just want a good AEG that I won't have to do any upgrades to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Adam.

Cant discuss other retailers, this forum is run by Z1 as good will to us so we should respect their wishes

Would you like a Stock, or no stock (mp5k)?

Ah I see, ok that's no problem, thanks for pointing that out, I'd like a stock one I think.

    Thanks,
    Adam.

    Well G&G do a ton a AR15 variants that are nice. GC16 is a sweet size http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/produc...oducts_id=4430

I have a G&P Ball Rifle Short, really like it, build is good, perfromance is solid, and the size is great for CQB

I also have an MP5K with no stock, its so much fun, just the pdw stock does help over longer periods, the TM MP5 high cycles fall bang into your price range and are great performing guns

    What about the UMP http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/produc...oducts_id=5769

You wont go wrong with a TM P90 and a set of MAG midcaps, such a good setup for close quarters and being bullpup and TM hop/build quality it still ranges out to 30M accurately.

It takes any indoor acc you need easily - laser/torch etc
You can sprint with this thing on one hand
It is very quiet out the box

I would go with (Cyma) ak74u, p90, or mp5 all will have room for optics/lights/lasers if that is your thing, and they all come in at around 150-200 new. Accuracy will be good and they all have solidly built internals/externals.

MP5 / P90 / M4 / 74su / etc etc all these 'short' guns would work great but me personally I wouldn't go for a stockless gun , you still take aimed shots in CQB can't do that with a point and shoot ?
But ultimately comes down to what you like , I've done CQB with a full length M14 before now without any problems !

If you have 300 to play with, couldn't do better than a Scorpion Evo imo

Just an update, I ended up buying the CYMA MP5K PDW, any recommendations on a better battery or should I stick with the stock Ni-MH battery?

    Thanks,
    Adam.

I've got a cyma mp5k and if you split the upper receiver you can squeeze a lipo in the cocking handle space, with deans connection and just the balance plug showing when you take the handguard off, the lipo will be integrated into the gun so won't be removed

If I go for a lipo what is the best one to go for so it won't ruin my gun as I want to leave all internals as stock, I don't want to overwork the internals, any advice will be appreciated.

Best thing to do is go to one of the big shops if you can and handle as many different guns as you can and see what you like. Other peoples recommendations while perfectly good may not be right for you. If you can’t get to a shop ask on your local site, again handle as many different guns as you can and ask there opinions.
