Re: asg evo scorpion problem need help
It is unlikely to be spring related; it could be dirty barrel, a hop problem (torn hop rubber possibly?) or a catastrophic loss of compression.
First, clean the barrel.
If that does not solve it, check that the air nozzle/hop interface is not leaking air by turning the gun upside down, placing a small piece of paper over the feed nozzle and shooting (obviously without any BBs in the gun). If the paper flips up in the air you either have a damaged hop rubber or air nozzle or there is some sudden misalignment between the two. If it just jumps a little with the shock of shooting, it is fine. Then check that the hop unit is working properly and that the rubber is properly positioned and in good condition; this will involve you in stripping the hop unit.
If these checks are ok, it is a gearbox problem.
If it is still under warranty and you are worried about voiding the warranty and cleaning the barrel does not help, contact the retailer.

Do you have the upgraded spring guide? Mine's was doing this and it turned out that one of the prongs on the spring guide had broken off and was down in the gearbox. It had stripped on tooth off a gear and this was causing it to just 'spit' out bb's. Hopefully it's some of the simpler things though!

It's probably the most common fault, which is stripped piston or teeth missing off sector gear,if you do open her up do not plug in the battery with the two half's of the mosfet apart because you kill it quicker than you can say "take your hits" oh btw get a set of shs 16:1 ratio gears, and a piston, if you get an asg ultimate you won't have to worry about angle of engagement

Also most people once it's open add a speed trigger and definitely get a steel spring guide if it hasn't got one already
