  • Fixing leaky mags any help?

I've recently just bought a new pistol came with 3 leak free mags, but as the lad who sent them had to remove the gas for parcel force rules regarding pressurised canisters they now all leak from the base.

All the o rings are fine just need silcone to swell them again to make it gas tight, am I right in thinking this? And is the best way to do it to remove all the o rings from the base and soak them in a pot of silicone lubricant before putting them back in the gun?

Any help will be greatly appreciated thankyou.

You could soak the o-rings in silicone but i had this same problem today and just tightened uo the inlet valve and body screw and it fixed the leaks. Mybe try that first.

Yeah giving the seals a little soak in silicone oil will be fine and could stop the leak, or using a bit of silicon or Teflon grease..
Have a look at my magazine maintenance video mate, there's a few different ways to maintain magazines and use different greases and oils etc, but this video will help you..
