  • Choosing my next CQB gun

Hi guys I'm looking for recommendations for my next gun.
I will mainly be doing indoor CQB, I have been using my nuprol delta sopmod and I have been finding it a
    Bit heavy and cumbersome.
I've been obsessing over the honey badger 😂 but I've recently been thinking that I could make a better choice by choosing a different gun, started looking at Mp5's. I really like the look of the honey badger but I could save a bit of weight with the Mp5's which would make sense.
My sopmod is about 2.8kg the badger is about 2.6kg and the Mp5's are 2kg so it could be a more agile gun and allow me to run around more ect.
I don't mind if I buy new or used I have a budget of £250.00 and much be no higher than 330fps.
Also would like something that has a good rep, easy to get spares for & be reliable.
Has anyone got any other recommendations?
    Thanks

Can't go far wrong with an ICS MP5 , you can get a new one for sub £160 and I picked up (of these forums) an ancient one for well under the ton that's still running like a train ! and a couple of team mates have either got or have had several different brands and all preferred the ICS .

Yeh there is something satisfying about the good ol MP5's!

Personally ive never had a better CQB gun than a P90 though, so short and tight for running around, corner and door entrys, great mag capacity, also very quiet... Some one is selling a TM p90 currently in the classifieds, basically new with a set of Midcaps for £180, bargain!

I'm not overly sold on the looks of the TM P90, I have heard some really good stuff about the gun.
It sounds like a great performer though.

Second the vote for mp5. The perfect indoors tool. Even with the full stock

Mp5's are great, in fact any short gun from a reasonable brand will do the job, but is your sopmod currently your only gun ?.
I ask as if it is, it would make sense to get another gun that takes stanag mags, that way you've always got a backup & no issues with mag pouches etc.
Plenty of super stubby AR's out there, or maybe consider a bullpup, aps uar/magpul pdrc/tar21 tavor ?

Mp5K I use it like a fat pistol I can use two of them at the same time easy.

P90 I can also use two of them easily like massive pistols.

P90 is also the easiest to access the gearbox and take apart. Mp5s except the K version less so.

VFC MP5A4 is a great choice. Has the burst fire mode and the quality of the externals is fantastic. Happily throws 0.3g out at woodland on target

If I were you I'd just get a compact M4 type thing of some description out of ease.
