Best make of pistol to customise?

Hi guys, I want to get my self another pistol as a bit of a project to pull apart and customise.
I really like the gas blowbacks I have a We glock 17.
Is there a popular make of pistol that's easy to get spare and aftermarket parts for?

Yeah 100% TM hi-capa if you want a project pistol with more spares and upgrades then I can count lol..
