Royal Mail. Just the same as sending anywhere else in the UK.

Re: Posting item
Cheapest method is to send it via Parcel Force 48hr Express. You are only covered £100 though. Do not pay extra for the enhanced compensation as you are not covered for the extra insurance as per PF terms but the counter staff either don't know this or try to sell it any way.
Also I would advise to go onto PF website and print out a copy of the 'General Prohibitions and Restrictions' list and highlight the section that allows low powered air weapons. I always declare what I send and the counter staff have being spooked before, but once I show them the print out they are fine.
Dearest option is a courier like TNT or the like, but I have never used them so won't comment.

Re: Posting item
Hi There. Just thought I'd chip in my two pence worth. Ages ago I did the same thing. I went down and when they said what's in the box I said "Airsoft Gun". I got a prompt and loud (In front of loads of other staff/customers) "We don't accept guns"!! Somebody on here told me the same thing. Print out the restrictions list for them to read? I did and even circled it about Low Powered Air Weapons, but the lady refused to touch my packet OOEERR!! I asked to speak to the manager, and he said it's up to the individual, if they feel uncomfortable about it he can't make em do it, and I should try elsewhere??
I use Parcel2Go now even though their not insured on there either??
Regards
Richie

Re: Posting item
I second what Reedy said, use PF48 and take a copy of T&Cs.
Also Richard is correct, they can be odd sometimes. I would highly recommend using the phrase Low Powered Air Weapon (their terminology) so there is no confusion and "gun" can often spook people

Re: Posting item
So there is no way for a regular person to send an airsoft gun insured for more than £100?

Re: Posting item
I prefer to use the phrase 'just hobby and sports equipment' when they as lk at my local PO. It's true and saves that awkwardness from poorly trained staff.
