Re: Skirmish Wear - How do you do it?

Mine's pretty much the same whatever the weather. If it's cold I'll wear a set of under-trouses and another t-shirt but I generally go for:

    TreadStone T-shirt
    DPM trouses and jacket
    Assualt vest (black)
    Digital DPM cap
    Dogtags

Then, depending on the gun I'll carry all primary mags, then my MEU in dropleg blackhawk holster, and mags in the vest. Big pouch at the back allows for a bag of bbs.

I usually then have a few pouches left for radio/maps/speedloader etc.

Re: Skirmish Wear - How do you do it?

all im using at the moment is a set of DPMs and a good pair of boots. works fine for me while im renting guns, got plenty of pockets to put a bottle of bbs in and a couple of pyros.

though when i get my own gun, and have things like extra mags to carry, or more likely just more things i want to get, then i'll get things then.

I love to move quickly and storm the enemy so i normally carry as little as possible. Having said that, if i was playing milsim then i can see the appeal of a full loadout.
One team to rule them all, one team to find them, one team to bring them all and in the darkness of the night battle own all the Deltas. BRAVO HOORAH!

Maybe for CQB I'd wear helmet or maybe a plater carrier, but for woodland, KISS.

You dress up in leather, slap on black and white face paint and run at people sticking your tongue out suggestively?

I voted for Unit Impression as I'm now a fully addicted Namsofter so no matter wether I need it or not, I'm normally always kitted out with weapon, uniform, webbing, rucksack, helmet etc. I personally enjoy it as it all adds to 'experience' for me, but I understand that some people just want to keep it simple. I say, if its works for you then go for it. If not, then try something else.

                              Cheers,

                              Tom

simple for me - indoors with quick games means a spare mag for the pistol is in the holster pouch, and a spare mag for the MP5 in my combats, a hoody and I'm good to go.

I've got some low caps on order (stupid snow!) so going to tape them together in pairs and run 10 low caps per game instead
