i have to say i agree with you there
what made me get a scar-l is i was offered it for a chinasoft mp5sd and that all my mates have guns that use m4 mags
so it was the obvious choice
what looks even better is the VFC mk17 ssr mmmmmmmmmm

Could someone do me a massive favour? I need to know the height of the lettering of the VFC's trade marks as accurately as you can.

As far as I can tell, there are two, maybe three sizes.

i get the mk16 to be 4mm high
the two lines bellow are 3mm
and the two at the top are 3mm also

can i ask why you want to know?

Is that the VFC? Cheers.

I'll be using white Letraset (once I can lock the font down) then oversprayed with a fine lacquer. I can't get hold of a trademarked one so this will have to do.

Same difference at the end of the day.

personally i wouldnt have them
they eye relief is really short and the field of view isnt great
plus 4x on an airsoft AEG isnt hugely practical
if you want one for looks, they are awesome, i love the fibre optic ones
also the problem i had with mine, i bought a lower half face mesh mask, this meant that i couldnt even look down the sight comfortably
though saying that, if you have the one like mine with the red dot, you could use the zoom for spotting and the red dot for aiming
