Really nice kit, SS is probably the 'coolest' uniform out there as far as WW2 goes!

          Very nice kit!

one critism tho. is, i guess its your pops, in wehrmacht strummash (water/splinter) patern? as that werent used by the SS, of course if its just s&^*s and giggles while airsofting it no big deal, but for reeneactment its abit wrong.

Youre spot on mate, these were taken a while back when they made the the jump to ww2 kit & started collecting a bit of eveything really for various impressions they had in mind. here are some more recent ones, but now theyre going Nam for the summer. Navy Seals, i think!!!

They do like to ham it up for the camera mind....

Oh yeah and on a slightly unrelated note your dad looks a bit like the lead character in Band of Brothers 0_0

Cool photos and really period looking. My grandfather fought in Stalingrad (didn't return though) and I've been looking at his enlisted days photos. You guys really have got the look. well done

If you fancy toying around with an old pistol or something, paint it matt black, gently roughen it with some scotch bright, just to lightly wear the raised areas, then rub a load of powdered graphite from an art shop all over it, before sealing it with a satin or matt laquer. Old prop making trick 😜 simulates a worn blued look quite well.
