Ah...I am proud of you, good sir.

These are very authentic loadouts you have here. Hell, I can't help but be jealous of some of your kit. VSR is just...ace. Still can't find a uniform of it for myself. Then again, I'm quite broke right now anyway.

Also, fellow 6B3 owner, what do you think of the vest? I love mine. ^^

        Да, да, я - Русский.

Whiteman the lists are what I'm wearing, not what was used. That list would be endless.

Cheers Kamarov. I got quite lucky with the VSR, cost about £45 posted from Russia. Its the 95 version, 96 dated. Came with the AF patch on my winter flora sewn on. Its actually a little big for me- I can wear it as a winter uniform with the liner inside.

I've yet to use my 6B3 in game but it seems comfortable so far. Plenty of storage space. Mine has no plates though, I may have to see about making some.

Approximate cost is about £550 (both about the same) including weapon and mags. Its taken a while to get together though: lots of bagain hunting and even a few freebies.

Time for a reboot. One of my takes on Chechen war scout. Could pass for either 1st war or early 2nd. Pics taken just messing about post game (but forgot to take my specs off in the first one).

Oh its very Russian. The pics have been moved and I can't edit the first post to re-add them so I'll have to repost instead.

                Re: Chechen War kit

Experimenting with a 2nd chechen war OMON look.

                Winter VSR Jacket
                Urban Kamysh trousers
                Kascad 1 Vest in SMK
                RD-54
                Soviet Sapogi
                Black woolly hat & gloves
                AKS-74
                Bayonet, mags, flares, grenades etc..

Will probably boil if I try to play in the winter VSR so may swap it for a summer jacket or my gorod rainsuit top. Will probably swap the boots too.

But his loadout is of Russian forces in Chechnya, not Chechens themselves. eg. Pic 5 in this thread, Russian Armed Forces sleeve patch.

                    Re: Chechen War kit

Yes as HullAL says my kit is Russian forces, Motor rifles in the first set and OMON in the second. The badge on the jacket is wrong for OMON but I'd rather not take it off.

I can do a rebel look but as you say I need more beard. My nose is probably big enough...

Not much going on here in the Russian section so here a few pics to at least make it look alive.

                      2nd Chechen war MVD kit.

And a repost of some earlier pics I moved since I can't edit.

Can anyone tell I like VSR camo? :D
