and a .2 g bb is going to travel the same distance no matter what its fired from if its travelling at the same velocity
I beg to differ, i can set my hop at 2 extremes and get very different reslts for distance.

why do people think you need higher power for accuracy and distance???? set your gun up correctly and you can have good accuracy and distance without needing 400+fps.

      Re: Batteries.

I think what he was saying is,

If two guns set the same, fire a BB at the same power, both guns will have the same range.

But your right, Hop, Tightbore, Airseal... all play their role... But for insane ROF's then its spray and pray to me.

          Re: Batteries.

          i still beg to differ.
if you fire two bbs from 2 guns at the same hop up setting barrel lenght and the rest of the niff naff and trivia they will travel the same distance, give or take the few mm the wind might blow them!

Again, wrong. Different brand or design hopup units are of different quality and will perform differently.

Give him three weeks, then it seems I owe you a coke if he doesn't come online during that space of time.
