Pistol holster advice

Morning, just about to get either a TM Glock or UMP and really would like to holster it either upside down around 5 o'clock on my hip or horizontal for a cross draw on my left (being r-handed).

There's a bewildering amount of options, what would you folk recommend for a good cost/benefit holster for those common pistol shapes?

ps. a bonus would be space for a small undermounted torch for CQB but not essential.
