G&P Eotech not working - any ideas on how to fix?

Hello, the reticle isn’t showing up and i’ve used new batteries just in case. The battery cover looks to have no metal conductors (correct terminology?). How do I replace those, or do I just need a new battery cover? Anyone ideas please help if you can!
