Wow mate, I'd literally just got it out the back of the car, I wasnt wandering round with it. Please dont get the impression that I'm one of the people who made the home office crack down on airsoft, I consider myself a responsible player despite the fact I am younger. Although I can see from my post how you may think that but please.

When me and my mate were unpacking kit from the car in the drive way of my house, we were still in our DPM's and I had my G36C slung on my back!

When me and my mate were unpacking kit from the car in the drive way of my house, we were still in our DPM's and I had my G36C slung on my back, a group of kids wandered past and as we knew one of them we said hi, (not that we like him) There was the obvios stares but when they had passed we heard one of them say 'Been playin wiv water guns have we? haha' Me and my mate just looked at eachother and frowned and my he said, 'Yea, water guns make bleeding bruises on your neck dont they', pointing out one of his war wounds form the day. Water guns??? Fair enough it was two tone at the time but c'mon!

These stories confirm two things for me;
First, that dispite what the media and some others may feel, our armed forces are shown the respect they deserve of thier courage, vigillance and sacrifice. This is heartening beyond words.
Second, that when it comes to firearms, the Uk is one of the most embaressing and immature places to live in terms of our laws. Thiers somthing about a government which forcefully disarms its populace which does not sit easy with me.

edit: Actually thiers a third thing; Thiers always some little numpty who going to abuse the responsibilities he has, and get the responsible ones tarred with the same brush by association.

my one was me going into my local shop to get some food before going to a game and had some old guy say to me "well done for Iraq"

Lol. Me and mates go hunting now and again and we all wear camo and if we dont catch anything we go into mcds wearing all camo and everone is looking at us lol :D

Me and about 20 of my mates having a friendly game in the woods next minute we have 7 armed responce cars 2 hellicopters and the road to the woods and the surrounding area blocked off because some jackass walked across the road holding a ak in the air

I'm going to say what most people are probably thinking.
The 'jackass' crossing the road waving an AK is one reason why we have so many problems as airsofters.
'Justchris', this story neeed to be in a new thread, 'Whats the most irresponsible and potentially fatal thing my mates have done'.

here's a funny 1, one of my team mates quite a wile back was being driven to a site but his friend had to stop at the bank to get money out, anyway he accidently locked the car. with him wearing a pmc loadout, helmet, goggles baly and all he couldn't move at all. unluckerly he moved and set the alarm off outside a bank. a security guard stepped out side and walked towards the car wile he through himself over the back covering the gun bag's with a bin liner. luckerly his friend ran out the bank and got to the car before the security guard did. to see him stripping down in the car in a frantic manour haha

Driving my wifes Capri from Firefight Reading to Swindon back in 2005, crawling along at 60mph and a car overtakes in the middle lane then slows down and drops back alongside me. I peer across and the bloke is giving me a good hard stare then carries on his way. For the next ten miles nearly every overtaking car did the same. I started getting slightly paranoid wondering what the hell was wrong with everyone. It wasn`t until I glanced into the interior mirror (something I normally didn`t use as I drove a truck for a living) that I realised I`d left the site with a fully cammed up face and forgot to remove the cream before leaving.
