    rank things

    hi when i used to post a post it used to say private next to my name
    but now it says corporal what does this mean
    (i know the ranks in the armed forces ) but why are they there?????????

    It's a feature that can be seen on many many forum boards.

    Basically, it relates to your post count.

    I think it is 0-49 - Private

    50 - 99 - Coproral

    100 - 499 - Sergeant

    500 - 999 - Captain

    1000 - 1999 (?) - Lieutenant Colonel

    2000 - ???? - Colonel.
