Private Messages - Being Received or Floating in Space

Okay, was just wondering, if some private messages that have been sent ever actually DON'T reach the recipient(s)?

I've had a few people say to me "I thought I had replied to that message" and there's no recollection of any reply in my Inbox.

Is it possible for messages to be lost, and if so, why?



This was just something that I thought about this morning, and have been meaning to query it ever since... I've PM'd a guy about something he has for sale, and even though he's been online since the message was sent, a few times, I haven't had any response. Perhaps he doesn't like me? Well - it's his loss of a potential buyer anyway!

i sometimes wonder this aswell, would be nice to know if people are ignoring me, or have no idea im trying to contact them.

This has happened to me a couple of times, but I reckon its more likely to be down to a blip in my net connection than the site itself...

You can request a read receipt with your PMs.

Understand that one Rampage, but I also know you can choose not to select that you've read the message.

Requesting read receipt logs when they viewed the message if they cancel or accept.

yes also very annoying when members dont read thier pm's and sell to others even when you first in line !

sorry for sounding a little dim on this one fellas but how do you attatch read receipt to your PM's

There's a tick box under the message window.
