Data Protection act and Lost souls....

Just a thought here chaps...

but am I right in assuming that the lost souls section is a place to share information on how to contact certain members when they have gone 'AWOL'?


If so, is it legal to divulge such information?
As clearly the information would involve addresses, phone numbers, email addresses etc..

And I know for a fact that in any line of work, if such information was shared with a 3rd party it would be highly illegal. I don't know for sure if the law applies to individuals, such as members on a forum?



I just feel it's worth mentioning / clearing up.









Edit : I've just read that you cant publicly announce personal information on the forum - but still, I don't see how the lost souls section would work if you didn't atleast PM it??
