Yeah one guy said it and I missed it, not the first time something has been restated. Thanks for that wonderful contribution to the thread. Really helpful and productive.

Overall, PASGTs and LWH look the same, all you would need to do is change the PASGT chin strap for an LWH harness.

best bet is to buy a pasgt helmet then buy lwh helmet straps to replace the craptastic pasgt ones you can pick em up on the bay for not much

Re: US Marine Corps loadout help

Obviously the BDUs are Woodland MARPAT.
All vest, pouches etc needs to be in CB
and for crying out loud IT'S NOT A PASGT HELMET!!

    Headwear:
Gentex Light Weight Helmet, Reversible Helmet Cover, Cat Eyes Band, PASGT NVG Mount
MICH 2000, FSBE II cover (Sometimes w/ MEU), Norotos 3 Pt. or Universal shroud, Rhino Swing Arm.
    MARPAT Boonie Hat

    Boots:
Belleville, Bates, Danner, Corcoran USMC Stamped Olive Mojave Boots

    Plate Carriers/Flak Jackets:
IBA (Interceptor Body Armor) For older impressions, you can use woodland ones.)
    EOTV (Enhanced Outer Tactical Vest)
    MTV (Modular Tactical Vest)
    SPC (Scalable Plate Carrier)

    Hydrations Systems:
Any coyote aftermarket or CIF hydro carriers (IE Source USMC 3L)

    Various Gear:
    Any aftermarket shooting/tactical gloves
    ESS ICE Glasses
    Oakley M-Frame Glasses
    Wiley-X SG-1 Ballistic Goggles
    ESS NVG Profile Goggles
    Boot Blousers
    Riggers Belt
Assorted Leg Rigs (Aftermarket, or CIF stuff like gas mask carriers)
BHI Serpa 2nd Gen. USMC stamped for M9.
Safariland 6004 in FDE, for M9.

    Pouches:
For older look, mix with woodland and coyote brown pouches. For a modern look:
    AITES IFAK
Assorted aftermarket or CIF load bearing pouches.

    Comms:
    Selex PRR

    Optics:
ACOG TA31RCO is issued. Some Marines use EOTech's, Aimpoints, or carrying handles in conjunction.

For an older look, you can use just Aimpoints or EOTechs.

    Weapons:
    M16A4 is. issued
M4 is starting to become more common.
Troops are commonly seen with personally-bought Surefire combat lights, such as M951, M961, M952, M962.

Credit to Jonhgol10 for this list. The original guide can be found here.

    Gear:
    -Woodland MARPAT, not woodland digital
-A PASGT or MICH 2000, not exactly right but the USMC does wear them both
-A Coyote Brown CIRAS with assorted pouches
-Standard Coyote Brown Bates combat boots

    Gun:
-M16A3 with standard RIS with standard 4x magnifying ACOG

Oops pardon my mistake then, but a quick look at google and the LWH looks very similar to the PASGT so I think you could get away with using a PASGT.

Woodland MARPAT trousers and field jacket. A MOLLE vest in tan. Some tan pouches and a helmet (PASGT or MICH don't know exactly which one they currently use) and woodland MARPAT cover. Ballistic goggles, tactical gloves and knee pads. And some boots, of course!
    There you go!
