  • ARU Police loadout

Now I know this has raised issues in the past and raised peoples opinions but I'd like that put to one side for the purpose of this thread.
For a game I'm playing in the future I am on the police team and as such I need a reasonably accurate loadout. As far as trousers and boots go that's easy but what does a armed response officer actually wear?

I can only speak for the officers that I work with, but it goes as follows:

              - Dark Blue, short sleeved shirt with epaulettes and double shirt pockets
              - Black combats (police issue)
              - Duty belt with quick draw holster (for Glock pistol)
              - Police Body armour, usually with tazer attached.
              - Riot helmet (if required)
              - Usually ballistic glasses

I would like to assume you have a weapons list, but I will provide for those who don't know:
              - G36C (single fire only)
              - MP5 (Fixed or retractable stock, single fire only)
              - Glock 17
              - Tazer
              - Pump action shotgun (varies from force to force, usually because there's only one per team).

Well we're looking at a hostage rescue partnering with the SAS etc.
So whatever is most suited to that situation. Looking to not spend a huge amount as this will mostly be a one off loadout

Navy jacket will do! depending on how much cash you can splash, 5.11 5in1 jobby in navy my brother has and looks very similar to the second person in with the shield.

also holsters are safariland you can get replicas of those all over the place.

                          Re: ARU Police loadout

tactical overall similar to the sas ones
MICH or PASGT helmet With Comtacs Or Sordins Under
                          Balaclava most likely flash proof
that front operator has Hatch Sog 600 gloves on
Safariland for glock W/WO m3 torch
                          Arktis Police vest
I would wear a black PACA replica under the police vest as they seem to have custom made vests similar to the bristol armour , or you could pick up an ex police on on ebay or at a militry fair

Mp5s are for close quarters raids
                          G36 is a patrol weapon

this is going from that pic and what i know of my local ARU

Anyone still wanna explain the rather large mp5 mags in roxys picture, thats certainly more heat than a 9mm mp5

5.56 hk33 , most likely cheaper for that police force to run than the g36
