Custom Compensator for fun - opinions
24 December, 2009, 13:27
I was bored of looking for a compensator that I could put on my 1911, not perm, but one that was easy to remove and replace.
I decided to use a thread adapter, and make one, here's my progress so far on what it looks like screwed into the barrel. I'm probably going to cut two groves in the top of the large section. The ring at the back that is grey at present is going to be gold, and the comp still needs polishing and a plug / cap put on both ends at the bottom which I am working on atm.
Thoughts?
Oh yes and the bottom of the comp is the same size / diameter as the bottom polished part of the receiver - I was going to make the bottom bit longer so it joins up when on, but I decided against it, wish I had of now
