Is Green Gas more potent than stock propane?

I know that Green Gas is in fact propane with silicone oil. I've recently invested in a propane adaptor and went out to halfords and bought a couple of bottles of (smelly) propane.

I'm using the propane with a WE M4 GBB that actually prefers not to have all that silicone oil pervasive in Green Gas. However I have to say that it seems my WE M4 GBB is more powerful with Green gas than the smelly propane from the (supposedly) pure propane blue bottle. I've run out of Green Gas but I thinking about buying one more bottle to experiment.

Also, Is it me or is the cooling down effect less dramatic with Green Gas that with pure/stock smelly propane?

I haven't done scientific testing but my M4 GBB seems to be louder and giving more kick with the Green Gas than with pure smelly propane.

Has anyone had similar experience with their GBB weapon or do you know something about smelly propane that might indicate why it might be less potent than Green Gas?
