GR25 ( SPR ) Barrel Nut removal ?

I've searched and searched and have come up empty handed. Has anyone removed the free float barrel nut from a G&G 7.62 upper receiver? I was able to remove everything (The SPR has a two piece outter barrel) but the barrel nut for the free float (what holds the barrel to the receiver). I dont know if theres a set screw I'm missing, or if there is a god-like adhesive that they use. I was not able to get the barrel nut loose even with an armorer's tool. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the removal process? This is starting to drive me bonkers.
