WE / VFC GBB Rifles ? How come nobody has any new stock ?

Hi guys and welcome back Zero in !! Damn we missed you so much ! My question as above really . I am after a new GBB rifle and cannot find any new stock in UK ? Why ? Everywhere is out of stock ? Even the big dealers ( Zero One ) Its a serious question so if anyone knows whats happening would be obliged ? I am after a new GBB M4 / 416 / PDW something like that . Sincere thanks if anyone can help . Carl.

It’s been a problem for a little while. I’m after a WE AK-74 PMC and I’m struggling to find it in stock anywhere, (by anywhere obviously what I mean is on Zero One ). I don’t know for sure, but it may be that GBB rifles aren’t as popular as AEG’s over here due to the weather and so they don’t get stocked as much. For me it’s GBB or nothing pretty much, so it does cause a problem and I end up buying most stuff second hand.

Hi Carl - good to see you back and your statement above cannot be over-stressed and I certainly second it!!!!

As for the GBB stock issue, I reckon it might be to do with the apparent changes coming as regards FPS/Joule limits for full auto etc, though I must admit I'm well out of the loop on that one and the changes have possibly already been effected!??! I hope I'm wrong and it's juast a supply issue from Asia etc. I might drop a certain GBB specialist an email and ask.

Just got a notification that our esteemed sponsors , Zero One , now have stock of certain GBB rifles !! ( both WE M4 variants plus others ) great news !! I shall be placing my order shortly . Incidentally , I noticed the problem of missing GBB Rifles on the shelves is not confined to UK only either . Many overseas dealers are the same or I would have placed my order there . So I doubt the problems are legal / FPS issues ?? cheers lads . Carl

Great to hear they have some stock in - I got my WE M4 from Zero One about 4 years back. I've done absolutely nothing to it since I got it, except for a Raptor Arms charging handle (be warned the standard WE ones are truly terrible!!) I do shoot it fairly regularly too garden plinking etc.

We've had a comparatively bad winter this year, and as we all know gas doesn't work as well over the winter so the demand probably hasn't been there. There seem to have been a lot of new AEGs from various manufacturers in the recent months so that may have accounted for a lot fo the recent buys from people. As the summer starts to move in I'd expect a lot of the retailers to start re-stocking the gas rifles. Many places (including Zero One) will also add a request order to their next supplier order, so you can always try contacting them directly.

No mate, I purchased it second hand from a user on here. You can still get them from the States I believe (I think?)

The exact model is a Rainier Arms Raptor.
