Field strip non field strippable Glock 17?
13 January, 2021, 16:25
Hi,
I have a non field strippable Glock 17 (dual ammo) and I was wondering if it can be stripped? In the future I want to clean and lube the internals. I can't see any screws I can undo to strip it.
Kind regards,
Druss.

dual ammo?
Drop the mag.
Pull the two latched down on either side of the frame above the trigger, at the same time, pull the slide back, then pull it forward and off.

Yeah takes both .177 pellets and 4.5mm bbs.
Thank you for the instructions. I'll try that.

Pellet gun, may not strip down like the real thing then. Have a look on YouTube first as I tried to remove the slide from a pellet gun years ago and broke the slide. If I’d have watched a video first, I’d have realised that I needed to remove something first, then the slide to not damage it.

I tried what you said but there was no way to strip it. It seems like the pins on the frame above the trigger have it secured in place.
