Operation Sundin

Fellow airsofters, i just wanted to spread the news about a little operation we are co-ordinating next summer Op Sundin:

About our objectives:

• Raise £50,000 for each of our chosen charities.
• Improve the public perception of our hobby.
• Give all involved a unique and memorable experience.

About the Event:

Objective: to drive 30 people 3600 miles to take part in the annual Berget event in ex-military land rovers raising £50,000+ for both The Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes.

Dates: 25th June 2012 – 2nd July 2012

Phase 1: strip, restore and prepare 5 x Land Rover Defender 110 Hard Top (within work shop)

Phase 2: drive from the UK through Northern Europe (6 countries, 2 capitals) to Sweden (1600+ miles)

Phase 3: Berget Event: World’s largest airsoft event: 96 hours, 2000+ players. Using the restored land rovers in game as Mech Inf.

Phase 4: return journey to the UK


About the players:

We will be talking 30 players on this event, each one pledged to raise £1000 for our chosen charities. Amongst the players we have various professionals: Engineers, Electricians, Film Makers, Journalists as well as currently serving and retired servicemen and more to come...
