Marushin(ASG) M1 Carbine 6mm performance? (Range specifically)

Thinking about doing a small semi auto counter sniper / dmr jobby with a m1 carbine since its a little different

Whats the range like on this? and im NOT talking about the 8mm model either..6mm model i will purchase if the range is decent depending on what you guys say

if not i know my other options so dont start talking about that instead plox
