G&P Magpul MOE - Locked Trigger

I've received my brand new AEG and I've noticed that sometimes the trigger does not go all the way back when pulled.

It seems to occur in both semi and full, although after cycling the selector a few times it works.

I've only noticed this when the mag has been removed from the gun and it does not happen all the time.

Is this caused by a failure in the components or does this happen from time to time?
