TM/Army Recoil as a DMR/sharpshooter platform
1 July, 2013, 14:00
As per the title, has anybody on here used one of the TM/Army M4 recoils as a DMR platform OR upgraded to 400fps. I have a TM M4 CQBr, R-Hopped @ 340fps, and as other owners will understand, the range is utterly phenomenal; So much so, it outranges my M14 which sits at 400fps.
I don't want to start a debate about 'what upgrades am bestest' for the next gen AEGs because everyone has their opinions (that and RichardY's guide is rather good and comprehensive), but more if the TM M4 next gen platform is capable of sustaining 400fps without destroying itself.
I have looked on American forums and Arnies and can't seem to find much literature, so thought I would just come out and ask!
