CYMA MP5K Gearbox piston return issue.

Got a CYMA MP5K gearbox brand new. Shots ok at 260 on both semi and auto, but on semi the piston does not return all the way forward it stops at halfway along the cylinder. In full auto I can get the piston to stop all the way forward. Any thoughts?
